Bite the Macarons ; Pucca Macarons

There is a time that I love to eat and baked French Pâtisserie like crème brulée, croissants, red velvet and cookies. At the same time, I love sweet pastry like brownies, cheesecake, and a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. In Surabaya, almost every weekend I am going to a cake shop to buy its kind of food and eat that at home.

Time flies, and I move to Samarinda. In Samarinda, the choice of French Pâtisserie is not as much as in Surabaya. And while living in Samarinda, I remember I never eat macarons. I am looking for a cake shop, but still can’t find it until I moved to Bontang for good. Lived in Bontang since January 2020, working really hard, and with a fat bank account, I know something for sure; I want to bite a macaron.

Macarons. Their white, pink, yellow, green, and various other color combinations and their round, domelike shape make them charming.

The sweet, crispy texture of the puffs and the thick cream between them add a rich harmony to delicate pastry. It is the type of pastry that makes me so happy when I receive it as a gift.

And yesterday, Pucca Macaron sent me the box of this happiness; a cup of baked meringue and a bunch of macarons.

Wow. The feeling is so mesmerizing.

Macarons typically known as traditional French pastries, but it is said they originally came from Italy. In the mid-sixteenth century, when Catherine de’ Medici, daughter of the noble duke of Florence, Lorenzo II de’ Medici, married the French King Henry II, she brought her cooks and bakers along to France and introduced a variety of pastries to the French people. the macaron was one of them.

In the original recipe, macaron made from white egg, sugar and almond ground. That’s why the taste is so sweet. But Pucca Macaron has various flavors, so you can choose what you deserve.

In Bontang.
